Alvina Cassidy

Alvina had spent a lot of money on her new website, and then was left to handle the design almost entirely on her own. She was accordingly disappointed and cautious.

We started again completely from scratch: defined attributes for the look & feel, selected matching colors and fonts, and redesigned the logo. Throughout, we stayed in close communication and gradually worked our way toward what truly felt coherent.

It was nice to see how Alvina was able to gain more and more trust and let go of her concerns over the course of the process.

For the graphics, she wanted images that had a connection to her offering (psychotherapy & meditation), without seeming kitschy or like something seen a thousand times before.

So I reworked suitable nature motifs and was myself delighted by the gold shimmer effect that emerged.
